Garth Brooks kept a big promise to wife and fellow country star Trisha Yearwood: He's selling his massive .5 million Oklahoma mansion!
When Yearwood and Brooks wed in 2005, she wanted to move to Nashville, the country music capital of the world -- but Brooks refused to leave his kids behind in Oklahoma, where his ex-wife, Sandy Mahl, moved.
A source dished, "Although Garth and Sandy divorced after 15 years of marriage, Garth continued to put his girls first.
"I was physically, straightaway attracted to him, and then we got talking, and I was like, 'Wow, he's such a warm and charming man,'" she says.
After a romantic proposal on a Canadian mountaintop, the pair said "I do" on a beach in Mexico in 2005.
Trisha was raised in a small farming community, where she excelled in school and developed a love for country music.
“Extra’s” AJ Calloway recently caught up with Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, who dished on their incredible love story.
When asked about the secret to their 11-year marriage, Brooks joked, “If there is reincarnation, I found her in a past life, I'll find her in the next one.
She has followed this effort with several award-winning releases, earning Grammys and other accolades along the way.
Yearwood is also a successful cookbook author and TV personality.
